Dublin City Council have awarded Aldridge Traffic Controllers the SCATS Urban Traffic Control System upgrade and maintenance contract in a competitive tender recently.

Dublin City Council are current SCATS users and have an installed base of 672 intersections and wanted to expand those eventually to 750.

Aldridge Traffic Controllers provided Dublin City Council with a competitive price that included the upgrade of the SCATS Urban Traffic Management Control (UTMC) System to handle 750 traffic intersections, the Traffic Reporter application and Congestion Server.

The Traffic Reporter and Congestion Server are state of the art applications that support Dublin City Council in running their Urban Traffic Management Control system as efficiently for Dublin's motorists and pedestrians.

Aldridge Traffic Controllers will support these products and provide Dublin City Council with prompt and modern web support for SCATS and its Applications to ensure SCATS continues to be reliable and responsive.
