Remote Detection Activated Sytems

ATC design and manufacture various types of Remotely Activated Warning Systems. Typically, a remotely activated warning system is installed because the device or location of a detection (a truck, bus, push-button) is remote to a display warning device such as a static sign with flashing amber traffic signal lights. A detection device typically can be a radar detector, video detection camera, push-button, relay output from a Traffic Signal Controller/PLC/Remote Terminal Unit (RTU). The system would use this signal to activate the flashing traffic signal lights to be displayed in a wig-wag (alternate) fashion on a static sign with precautionary messages located from a few metres to hundreds of metres from the detection device.

The Remotely Activated Warning Systems can either be Mains Powered, or Solar Powered, with user-defined days of operational autonomy. The traffic signal lights can be DC (12V/24V) or AC powered (42V and 240V).
