The TrafiCam Collect-R Data Collection Sensor is a state of the Vehicle Detector designed to gather data on vehicle counts, monitor traffic flow and effectively perform the same functions as Inductive Vehicle Loops embedded in the road surface.

The TrafiCam Collect-R product is a Vehicle Detector and has a sensor designed to detect and count vehicles on up to 4 lanes simultaneously.

The design of the TrafiCam product allows for simple, quick installation and its low power consumption means it is suited for both mains or Solar powered applications.

The technology behind this product is a highly sensitive CMOS sensor that is coupled to video recognition software that determines when a vehicle is located in a given lane.

The TrafiCam Collect-R Video Detector provides all the relevant traffic data such as Volume, Speed, Occupancy and Classification on Multiple Lanes, day and night and in all weather conditions.

The TraficCam Collect-R Video Detector can monitor Traffic Flow. Via the flow speed and the zone occupancy it can distinguish 5 levels of service.

One of the main benefits of this product is the ability to deploy a solution very rapidly as it does not require road surface cutting and is quickly integrated into a Traffic Signal Controller such as the ATSC4 to provide a sophisticated and reliable system.

The TrafiCam Collect-R Video Detector can be easily configured via a local or remote PC running MS-Windows and view its video stream and its data in real time.

The advanced design of the TrafiCam Collect-R Video Detector includes special filters to prevent false detections caused by road markings, shadows and reflections in wet weather.
