No Travel, But ATC Have Been Travelling Well

ATC Have Been Busy

Fortunately, Australia’s transport infrastructure upgrades haven’t been halted as a result of COVID-19. In fact, at ATC, we’ve noticed the opposite, with a high demand for our traffic control & signalling products over recent months. During this financial year, we have delivered many ATSC4 Traffic Signal Controllers both locally and offshore, with a number of them being installed in NSW. Our traffic signalling hardware has been used for a number of notable roadway upgrades.

The Northern Road Upgrade

For stages two and three of The Northern Road Upgrade, we delivered ATSC4 Traffic Signal Controllers, and Cabinet extensions, providing Traffic Signal Controllers for all sites in the these two stages of the upgrade.

<p> </p> <h4>M4 Smart Motorway</h4> <p>Our controllers are also being used in the new M4 Smart Motorway upgrade, for both the intersections adjacent to the motorway, and associated <a href="/products/traffic-signal-controllers/ramp-metering" title="Learn more about Ramp Metering">Ramp Metering</a> sites, delivering safer, more efficient traffic management at the motorway’s entrances.</p> <h4>Light Rail and Other Upgrades</h4> <p>Following on from our work on the Newcastle and <a href="https://www.braums.com.au/news/2019/sydney-light-rail-project-on-track-with-atc-braums" title="Visit BRAUMS website to read about Sydney Light Rail ">Sydney Light Rail</a> projects, our controllers are now being rolled out as part of the Parramatta Light Rail corridor upgrade and being used for intersection upgrades as part of Sydney’s WestConnex project.</p> <h4>SCATS 6.9.4 Global Distribution</h4> <p>Of course, with all of our ATSC4 Traffic Signal Controllers running SCATS® adaptive urban traffic control system, we’re excited to have seen SCATS® developments both locally and offshore in recent months.While Australian Road Authorities have been rolling out the newest SCATS® 6.9.4 update locally, in Melbourne, Canberra and Auckland, we have been delivering the update to other regions of the world, including Ireland, China, Malaysia, and Singapore.</p> <p>We are very excited to see the results and further roll outs in the near future.</p> <h4>Thank you!</h4> <p>We are very thankful to all our clients and industry partners for their support during what has been a very difficult time for many - working together, we can continue driving Australia’s ITS developments forward.</p>
